NEW YORK, NY--(Marketwire - Oct 1, 2012) - Wolters Kluwer Corporate Legal Services (CLS), the leader in legal compliance and performance management solutions, today announced the appointment of two new members of its CLS executive management team. Domingo Vazquez has been promoted to vice president, corporate strategy & planning, and Todd Lawrence has been named vice president, business development. Together, they will help guide the long-term growth strategy for the company, focusing on accelerating core growth opportunities and exploring new and adjacent markets. Both appointments underscore the growth potential in the business and management's commitment to position the CLS portfolio of brands -- which includes CT Corporation, CT Lien Solutions, Corsearch and TyMetrix -- for advancement.

In his new role, Vazquez is responsible for facilitating the strategic business planning process across CLS and leading special projects to advance the growth of the Group. With the company for seven years, Vazquez has worked closely with senior management in identifying, evaluating, and prioritizing strategic growth opportunities across the business. He joined CLS in 2005 to manage CT Corporation's flagship products, including statutory representation and the annual report product suite, which more than doubled in size in the two years under his leadership. Prior to CLS, Vazquez managed product and marketing strategy at several high-growth B2B service companies. He has worked for and consulted with senior executives in both small domestic startups and Global 2000 enterprises.

Vazquez holds a Master of Business Administration with distinction from the Johnson Graduate School of Management at Cornell University and a Bachelor of Arts in Marketing from the USF College of Business at the University of South Florida.

Lawrence, who is new to CLS, brings more than 15 years of experience in identifying and capturing growth opportunities for companies ranging from start-ups to the Fortune 100 organizations. Most recently, as the founder of private investment firm Sequential Capital, Lawrence focused on smaller transactions within the Information Services sector and in 2011, led Sequential's acquisition of Data Fusion Technologies. He has also served in strategic transformation roles at large organizations such as Dun & Bradstreet (D&B) and Qwest Communications. At D&B, he helped the company execute its growth strategy in key areas such as data solutions, enterprise software and digital media. At Qwest, he was responsible for the review of a $40 billion portfolio, leading growth initiatives across several of the company's core lines of business.

Lawrence holds a Master of Business Administration with distinction from the University of Michigan and a Bachelor of Arts in International Political Economy from Colorado College.

"The leadership and knowledge Domingo and Todd add to our team are yet another key accelerant of our growth strategy," said Richard Flynn, group president and CEO of CLS. "I look forward to leveraging their unique expertise in a complementary way to capitalize on our market opportunities -- and ultimately, to better serve our customers."
