Silver Stevie Award for Excellence in Corporate Innovation
Sydney, 22 April 2016: LexisNexis has been named the winner of a Silver Stevie® Award in the hotly contested Corporate Innovation category in the third annual Asia-Pacific Stevie Awards.
The Asia-Pacific Stevie Awards are the only business awards program to recognise innovation in the workplace in all 22 nations of the Asia-Pacific region. The Stevie Awards are widely considered to be the world’s premier business awards, conferring recognition for achievement in programs such as The International Business Awards for more than a decade. Over 600 nominations were judged by more than 50 executives around the world.

LexisNexis was recognised for both its achievement in fostering and driving internal innovation among staff and business processes, as well as the design and development of highly innovative products for the legal industry, including Lexis Advance – a revolutionary online legal research platform providing users with powerful search functionalities across the LexisNexis extensive database of court judgments, legislation, commentary, and research tools. The product was developed through partnership with over 1,000 customers, including barristers, lawyers, law librarians, universities and government agencies.
Winning the Stevie Award, follows a 2015 win for LexisNexis in the Australian Business Awards for Community Contribution in advancing the Rule of Law across the Pacific, a comprehensive program of support which includes partnering with governments and non-profit organisations to make justice systems more efficient and transparent; as well as documenting and making accessible local, national and international laws to citizens and professionals, essential to the proper administration of justice in the region.
