Duane Morris Ho Chi Minh City Office Adds Special Counsel Bach Duong Pham
HO CHI MINH CITY, September 22, 2015—Duane Morris LLP is pleased to announce that Bach Duong Pham has joined the firm’s Ho Chi Minh City office as a special counsel in the Corporate Practice Group. Pham’s addition further strengthens Duane Morris’ international corporate capabilities. He comes to Duane Morris from Gide Loyrette Nouel in Vietnam.
For more than 10 years, Pham has been advising clients in relation to banking and finance transactions, as well as corporate matters in Vietnam. He has a strong track record in loans and trade finance involving international companies operating in Vietnam, as well as Vietnamese state-owned enterprises and private borrowers. Pham has deep experience with Vietnamese securities issuances, custody services and derivative products, along with the corporate aspects of transactions involving banks and other credit institutions. He has worked on many large, trend-setting mergers and acquisitions in Vietnam. Previously, Pham was the head of the legal and compliance functions for Standard Chartered Bank in Vietnam and the Mekong Region for nearly six years.
A graduate of the Sorbonne University in Paris and the Moscow State Institute of International Relations, Pham is admitted to the Paris Bar (Avocat à la Cour d’Appel de Paris). He is a native Vietnamese speaker and is fully fluent in English, French and Russian.
