LexisNexis® Legal & Professional today announced the launch of a jurisdictional offering for lawyers practicing in Florida from Lexis Practice Advisor®, the company’s online practical guidance product. Lexis Practice Advisor® Florida Business & Commercial provides Florida attorneys and those serving Florida-based clients with jurisdiction-specific resources and practical guidance to help them handle transactional matters faster and more efficiently. Simultaneously, LexisNexis introduced a new Lexis Practice Advisor home page which offers users an improved experience.

The module is produced by a dedicated internal team of lawyers in partnership with practicing expert attorneys, who carefully create, curate and update all content sets. The Florida offering is the fourth jurisdictional module available through Lexis Practice Advisor, joining business and commercial modules for Texas, California and New York, along with other practice area and industry-specific offerings.
Lexis Practice Advisor Florida Business & Commercial features authoritative expert guidance, practice notes, model forms, checklists, and insights for rapidly growing and highly relevant areas of law in Florida, including: Florida Real Estate Transactions, Florida Estate Planning, Florida Family Transactions, Florida Entity Formation and Governance, Private Merger and Acquisition for the Florida Attorney and Private Placements for the Florida Attorney. LexisNexis also created a new Lexis Practice Advisor home page that allows users to navigate their subscription offering with greater ease. Among the new features are:
- A full, easy-to-see listing and linkage to all practice areas in a customer’s Lexis Practice Advisor subscription without having to use the practice area pull down
- The ability to explore out of plan practice areas by navigating tables of contents, titles and descriptions for those areas
- Direct access to resources such as The Lexis Practice Advisor Journal™, Lexis® Market Tracker, Lexis® Securities Mosaic® and legal news from Law360®
- Convenient links to support, training and resources, including Ask Our Authors
