“As lawyers we have a responsibility to sound the alarm when the rule of law is under attack,” said Kathleen Sweet, president of the New York State Bar Association. “Our esteemed panelists and moderator will review recent events and guide a discussion on how to strengthen and protect our democracy.” The panel will discuss “The Case for Constitutional Failure,” focusing on whether the three branches of government have abdicated their Constitutional responsibilities.
