We are currently looking for a Precedent Automation Consultant to join our Design & Automation team! Reporting to the Director of Content, you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of client precedent packs ensuring they are automated in accordance with client requirements. This is a great opportunity for a passionate and detail-oriented person to help our clients automate their precedents as well as get the most out of their content.
Our Design & Automation team creates and maintains the comprehensive library of content, including an extensive range of up-to-date, automated forms and precedents, enabling law firms to produce legal documentation quickly and consistently. Our Design & Automation team also work closely with clients to ensure they are maximising the use of their content. LEAP will provide you with the best training, equipment, mentoring and support that we are capable of to optimise the chances of you being successful.

Requirements
WHAT YOU’LL DO
- Communicate with clients on the requirements for automating their precedents
- Create and deliver high quality automated precedents for use by law firms
- Coding documents using Office Add-in and JavaScript calculations
- Review and prioritise feedback from clients on improving their precedents in their portfolio
- Ensure all client activity is accurately logged in Salesforce (CRM) in a timely manner
- Build strong relationships with clients
- Deliver precedent training sessions to clients and internal teams
- Provide assistance and support to the Design & Automation team
WHAT YOU NEED TO BE REALLY GOOD AT

WHAT YOU KNOW AND HAVE DONE BEFORE JOINING US
- Minimum 3 years’ experience working with legal and / or conveyancing matters
- A solid understanding of key parties, processes and documents used in legal processes
- Experience using document automation software
- Experience in automation using Office Add-in and/or JavaScript calculations an advantage but not essential
- Demonstrated ability to problem solve
- Experience using LEAP products, desired but not essential
As this is a permanent role it will only be open to candidates with Australian Permanent residency or Citizenship.
