Opportunity

We are a fast-growing and dynamic intellectual property law firm with a nationwide presence.  Work closely with our law firm attorneys to drive firm growth and revenue by assisting the attorneys with client development, strategic marketing, identifying network opportunities, and possibly lateral recruitment.

Ideal candidate is a self-starter who is technologically savvy, has strong communication and organizational skills, and can work remotely.

Flexible location and hours; could be a part-time or full-time position.

Job Requirements

Core Responsibilities

  • Assisting practice and industry group partners with the implementation and execution of business development goals and initiatives.
  • Proactively identifying business development opportunities, coordinating attorneys to pitch new business, and driving such opportunities from concept to execution.
  • Drafting pitches, RFP responses,  presentations, talking points, and background briefing materials.
  • Managing submissions to rankings, directories and other publications and contests.
  • Gathering intelligence on firm clients / targets and market trends to provide practice and industry group attorneys with an understanding of the competitive landscape and to position the firm for increased effectiveness in winning new business.
  • Providing internal training and coaching to attorneys in business development and marketing skills.
  • Tracking client development and marketing efforts by attorneys.
  • Supporting the recruiting and integration of lateral attorneys with established books of business.

Skills and Abilities

Professional Experience

  • Degree or Experience in business, marketing, or related field.
  • 3+ years in client development and marketing professional services.
