Product Marketing Manager – Law
Are you a talented and innovative product marketing professional with a background in law or legal publishing, looking to build on an already successful career? We are currently recruiting for a Product Marketing Manager to work for a global digital business information publisher within one of their highly successful legal brands.
Reporting to the Marketing Director, the Product Marketing manager’s key objectives will be to craft the messaging and positioning for the Law portfolio of products and gain a deep understanding of customer engagement with the portfolio, throughout the lifecycle. There is the possibility of working a 4 day week on this role.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Conceive, develop and implement innovative marketing programs that drive demand.
- Understand and provide key knowledge to the sales channel on buyers; how they buy, why they buy, their buying criteria and patterns.
- Enhancing customer engagement by using market insight to build tailored and relevant marketing strategies, including the promotional mix.
- Analyse and report on marketing results to provide insight to improve the effectiveness of future marketing strategies.
- Aid in the development of sales tools to support the selling of portfolio products.
The ideal candidate will have
- Previous experience in implementing product marketing strategies that have provided insight and understanding of prospect personas, competitors, proposition and pricing.
- Commercial and market awareness
- Ability to communicate the value proposition of products
- Experience of measuring ROI
- Strong customer focus
- Strong analytical skills
- Keen eye for detail and quality
- Strong organisational, planning and time management skills
- Experience of working in a B2B publishing marketing role, ideally legal publishing
This role would suit an experienced product marketing professional with a background or strong interest in legal publishing, and looking for a new opportunity as part of a successful marketing team, where there is broad scope to advance and progress within a business which is growing rapidly. You may also have marketing experience and have moved into a product focussed role within B2B/legal publishing, or a legal background and now looking to transfer your unique skills and experience to an organization where you will be well rewarded with a fantastic future.
