We have a new role this morning for an experienced cataloguer to work within a leading global law firm.
Working as part of the Acquisitions team, the Cataloguer is required to classify and catalogue new stock (books, publications and online products) and to assist with all procedures relating to acquisitions and publications generally. The firm uses its own cataloguing scheme which is based on AACR2.
A library or information qualification is essential as is a high level of accuracy and attention to detail with the ability to write clear and concise abstracts and present information clearly. Suitable candidates should have experience of cataloguing in a commercial environment and any knowledge of SIRSI and handling legal materials would be advantageous.
This role is available as a 6 month contract for 1 day per week.
