Our Knowledge Services team has been voted one of the “20 standout teams in the know” and we are looking for an Information Officer to join us on a 12 month fixed term contract to cover maternity leave, with the option of joining our Manchester, Leeds or Liverpool offices.
As an Information Officer, you will provide “gold standard” non-interpretative, legal and commercial research to the business. You will also partner with key stakeholders to provide sector and practice specific current awareness to support client care across our Practice Groups. You will have access to a variety of electronic and traditional research methods and be working with an experienced, well established team.
Requirements:
Relevant knowledge or information degree. We have an experienced team who can provide training and mentoring so we are happy to consider newly qualified graduates as well as those with prior experience
Commercial awareness and interest in legal and commercial research sources
Ability to work under pressure and within service level agreements
Flexibility and ability to work as part of team which provides services from 8am to 6pm so shift work is essential
High IT literacy and have excellent written and verbal communication skills
A strong eye for detail and accuracy, ensuring all work is completed to a high standard
