A global consultancy has a role for a Senior Information Resources Associate to be based in their Frankfurt, London, Paris or Madrid office. It is essential that this person is a native or fluent German speaker. They are particularly interested in people from a law firm background who are interested in transferring their skills and experience to a new sector.
Key responsibilities include:
- Working with global consulting staff on a wide range of research projects using databases other sources to provide information for client projects and business development initiatives
- Participating in Knowledge Management initiatives
- Working with information peers globally to share work and experience in order to build the research function in the region
- Training staff both with research issues generally, and with end-user training specifically
- Providing special research and support to the European consulting staff as needed
- Assisting in marketing and developing information services to staff across the business
- Using a helpdesk system to provide quick solutions and in-depth research, current awareness services, and competitive intelligence research
- Working on special projects as assigned
To be considered for this role you will need to have an advanced qualification in either information/library management, law, economics or an MBA.
