Our client is one of the world’s most recognisable corporate law firms. As a leading brand name in the Magic Circle, their business turnover and number of members are on a stable growth and gaining market share from the other law firms.
Due to their regional business needs, they are now looking for a Regional Finance Manager to be responsible for the finance and accounting initiatives for their APAC business.
about the role
Reporting to the Head of Finance in the UK and working closely to the GM HK, you will be overseeing the finance and accounting processes for their Asia business. Leading a team of talented Accountants and Assistant Accountants, you will be taking full responsibility for financial and management reporting, with an all-rounded coverage including cash flow, invoicing, AP, AR, payroll, tax return, liaison with auditors, etc. As a regional finance lead, you will also be monitoring and providing guidelines towards internal controls and procedures at the local offices.
skills and experience required
- Overall 8+ years of finance and accounting experience from the legal sector or from the professional services sector, with 3+ years of supervisory experience
- Solid understanding in working in a complex and partner driven business environment
- Excellent communication skills, well-presented, detail-minded and with strong leadership
- Professional accounting qualification holder (ACCA, HKICPA, CPA, etc.)
- Fluency in English and Chinese
