An international law firm based in central London is looking for an Information Manager for a 12 month contract. The role will involve conducting research and the day to day management of the library, including supervising a small team.

Key responsibilities will include:

·         Conducting legal and business research, and allocating requests to team members.

·         Providing current awareness services.

·         Manage acquisitions of hard copy and electronic resources. Reviewing sources and evaluating products.

·         Providing training to users.

·         Promoting the service.

·         Updating the intranet regarding the library service.

 

In order to be considered, for this role you will need:

 

·         A library and information qualification.

·         Experience of conducting legal and business research in a law firm, using sources such as Bloomberg Law, Lexis Library, Westlaw UK, BvD and Perfect Information products.

·         Team management experience.
