Suffolk University Law School Library in Boston is excited to announce the opening of a newly created position: Legal Technology and Research Librarian. This librarian will be a member of the law library’s reference and instruction team, report to the Assistant Director for Public Services, work closely with the Institute on Legal Innovation & Technology , and play a role in the development of Suffolk Law’s new Legal Innovation and Technology Certificate program – a first-of-its-kind online certificate program.

- Bachelor’s degree and a Master’s degree in Library & Information Science or equivalent (JD degree is preferred)
- Previous experience working in a law library, preferably including legal research instruction
- Experience and skills in computer programming preferred
- Experience with process improvement, process management, or data science preferred
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Commitment to providing the highest level of customer service and responsiveness
- Emotional and cultural intelligence with proven ability to work independently and as part of a diverse team
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and handle difficult situations
- Must be creative and proactive
