Position: INSTRUCTIONAL SERVICES LIBRARIAN, School of Law, Samuel M. Fineman Law Library

Serve as the focal point of the instructional team that creates and offers legal research instruction to the law school community.

 

Support the instructional team by designing curriculum, developing exercises and tools, and administering the various instructional programs of the library which include mandatory 1L & LLM research classes, a certificate program in legal research, and courses for credit offered by individual librarians. Teach in all the library instructional programs. Provide professional legal information, reference and research services to the law school and university community. Assist legal researchers in effectively understanding and using new and existing resources, technologies and library services.

Masters in Information or Library Science from accredited programs is required with a minimum of six years of experience in academic legal information instruction; or Masters in Information or Library Science from accredited programs and a J.D. with a minimum of three years of experience in academic legal information instruction.
