Entertainment Paralegal
Must have at least 3 years as a music paralegal
Must be vaccinated – hybrid position

Our client is seeking an experienced Entertainment (Music) Paralegal for its’ Century City offices. The firm believes in promoting from within, offers a family-friend atmosphere and is just a nice place to work with low turnover. You will work with some of the highest profile artists and musicians in the country. Who could do better than that?
In this Entertainment Paralegal position, you will have fun by:
- Handling all aspects of music clearances, licensing agreements and copyright registration of all content, and IP asset sales.
- Handling music clearance, including budgeting, obtains quotes, fee negotiation, preparation and review of licenses, and coordinates license payments for music clients
- Due diligence in the purchase and sale of music catalogs·
- Negotiating and drafting boiler plate provisions for songwriter agreements, sub-publishing agreements, producer agreements and mixer agreements
- Performing research and preparing signatory documents for all guilds·
What you need to bring to the table as an experienced Entertainment Paralegal:
- At least 3 years as a music paralegal in law firm or studio
- BA degree and paralegal certificate
- Demonstrated knowledge of complex issues with the Entertainment practice area
- Enthusiasm and a love for what you do
