The role

An opportunity exists for an experienced and qualified librarian to join our Library team as the Sydney Research Librarian. As a member of a high-performing and client-focused national team, the Research Librarian’s main focus is to deliver a high quality legal and business research service and to participate in current awareness activities ensuring the lawyers are kept up to date on all legal and business developments relevant to the practice groups and their clients. In this role there are local duties including managing the collection, delivering training to Sydney lawyers and promoting the Library in the Sydney office. Other duties and project work as required.

The role is being offered on a full-time ongoing basis.

You will work in a cohesive and supportive team where a flexible, resourceful and proactive attitude is a must, along with a strong commitment to quality customer service.

Relevant tertiary qualifications in Information Management and a minimum of 2 years’ experience in a research role in a law library or professional services environment are essential.
