Popular Print Ideas That Work Great for Popup Stores

Pop-up stores are a great opportunity to experiment with popular print ideas that you might not have used before in your brick-and-mortar shop, or online store. There are multiple print items to consider that, in many cases, have a double-duty purpose. Let’s discuss what print ideas could be fantastic options for your pop-up shop.

Pricing info banner

A pricing info banner for your pop-up shop can display the prices for every category of product you’re selling. For example, if you’re selling blank styles of the Bella + Canvas unisex textured jersey v-neck tee, put one price for that category. Think about increasing the cost if you revamped some with a custom design. Put each product category on a separate line on the pricing info banner.

The banner is relatively easy to create. It provides upfront pricing information, without customers having to ask what each item costs or searching for every price tag. It can also save you money and time by not having to create separate pricing tags for each item that you’re selling. Display the banner where it’s visible from almost anywhere within the pop-up shop, such as above the checkout area or changing rooms.

Promo cards with contact information

One of the biggest benefits of handing out promo cards is that they encourage shoppers to come back again, the next time with a discount in hand. Think about distributing double-sided promo cards with pop-up shop information on one side, and details about your website and/or brick-and-mortar store on the other. They can be especially useful when your time at the pop-up store is starting to wind down near closing time.

Handing out double-sided promo cards invites shoppers back to your pop-up shop again, and presents them with other ways to buy your items. The more customers you introduce to the additional shopping options, the more new business that can be created for you.

A poster about the history of your business

Creating a poster about the history of your business can be a wonderful print idea that adds to the pop-up experience, and lets customers get to know you, and your company, a little better. Put it near the checkout counter, or the entrance, or in areas where customers can easily see it and have time to read it without blocking the flow of other shoppers behind them. You could also have multiple posters printed and put around the pop-up store.

Incorporate various bits of information, like how you got the idea for your business and why you love what you do. Put details about your website and brick-and-mortar location to give customers an additional way for them to buy your fantastic items.

Paper bags with handles

There are many places where plastic bags are banned; stores won’t hand them out. You either have to bring your own reusable bags or buy them there, so that you can easily carry out your items. Shoppers in many locales are opting to bring their own reusable bags, regardless of whether or not they’re in an area where plastic ones aren’t supplied.

Create a design to put on paper bags with handles that customers can use to hold their purchases. Staple a business card to each bag, or put it inside of the bag so that shoppers will have it the next time they want to buy from you.

Hang tags with contact information

Have custom hang tags printed for the items that you’re selling in your pop-up shop. Include all relevant information, such as care tips for the product and how much the item costs.

Put your contact information on the back of the hang tag. This can include social media details and where customers can purchase your products beyond the pop-up. Make sure that the colors and style of the hang tags complement your brand’s identity.

Rack cards

Rack cards are small-yet-dynamic pieces of advertising that provide answers to possible customer questions. The cards may seem like they contain a lot of space for information, but it can be challenging to balance fitting all of the necessary advertising and contact details within the space provided.

Have an image on the front that will cause a shopper to pause and grab the rack card. Make sure to include all of your relevant contact information. This should include: the address to the pop-up shop, the brick-and-mortar store, your website, social media handles, phone numbers, email address, and any other ways that a customer can contact you to place an order.

Write any services that you offer, or details about products that you sell. If you’re starting to run low on space to put all of the information, only include the most popular options that will likely have the highest customer appeal. Also, incorporate details about any available discounts or deals.

Look over your rack cards before you submit the order for printing. Everything should be correctly spelled and be easy to read, and all of the information must be accurate. When you get your rack cards back from the printer, look them over once more to ensure that everything is perfect before putting them out for shoppers to take.

Announcement your Front banner

Put a banner out front announcing the grand opening of your pop-up shop. The name of your store needs to be prominently featured, but also include other details, such as a phone number or email address and the hours of operation. Check that the banner incorporates elements of your brand. It’s the first introduction customers will have to your business before they walk through the door.

Small details matter in any business, but they can be especially important in a pop-up shop where you’re only going to be there for a limited time. You’ll need to make a major impact from the very beginning. Write out ideas that you feel will work best for your pop-up shop.

Once you’re confident in your selections, order them as soon as possible. You want to ensure that you’re able to receive all the printed materials before your pop-up shop opening day.
