Mr. Shafqat Rahim Rajput Vice Chairman and Mr. Muhammad Saeed Abbasi Chairman Executive Committee Sindh Bar strongly condemns the illegal and unconstitutional act committed by the officials of the Police, at the Gulshan-e- Hadeed at National High way on the peaceful protest of the advocates against the six canal construction on the indus River who have illegally detain and brutal attack and Murder Attempt on the Advocate Mr. Zeeshan Arian, Member Managing Committee, Malir Bar Association.
This is a blatant violation of the fundamental rights guaranteed under the Constitution and a direct attack on the independence and dignity of the legal profession.
The Sindh Bar Council demands from the IG Sindh Police, DIG East , Karachi to take immediate notice, conduct impartial and departmental enquiry against the SSP Malir and SHO PS Steel Town and PS Bin Qasim lodge the FIR against him on account of his illegal act.
