We are looking for an Information Officer with at least one year’s post-qualification experience to join our experienced, friendly professional team.
The job is interesting and varied involving a great deal of legal and business research and enquiry work, together with some cataloguing and shared responsibility for our training and induction programme.
Key responsibilities include:
· Legal and business research
- Raise awareness and deliver training on knowledge and information resources. Promote our ‘15 minute To Learn’ program and provide tailored training for trainees, fee-earners, new joiners and other interested parties.
- Participate in the evaluation of subscription databases and make recommendations
- Promote Library & Research service to the firm
- Prepare daily current awareness alerts on legal topics, company news and topics of interest
Some experience in legal information work is highly desirable, but applicants with relevant experience from other backgrounds will be considered.
