Norton Rose Fulbright is pleased to announce that Anna Gamvros, a leading lawyer in outsourcing, privacy and data protection, has joined as partner in Hong Kong.
Gamvros has more than 14 years’ experience working as a technology and privacy lawyer in Hong Kong and joins from Baker & McKenzie where she has been a partner since 2012. Gamvros has significant experience in IT contracts and outsourcing, privacy and data protection, telecommunications and internet regulatory issues. She is co-author to Internet Law in Hong Kong published by Sweet & Maxwell and is recognised in the Legal 500 and Chambers Asia as a leading individual for her expertise in the area of technology and data protection, in particular for her “extensive IT transactional work” and experience across a number of industries, notably with retail and luxury brands. She is certified by the International Association of Privacy Professionals (IAPP) and is Co-chair of the IAPP KnowledgeNet Chapter in Hong Kong.
Gamvros advises clients from multinationals to local businesses in a broad range of industries, including technology, telecommunication, retail and fashion, travel, financial services, logistics, and pharma/healthcare. She navigates clients through the laws of Asia Pacific to implement e-commerce and privacy compliance projects, draft and negotiate complex contracts, and respond to data breach and cybersecurity issues. Her privacy and data protection work ranges from assisting with the implementation of information governance frameworks, compliance and transactions to breach notification and management and regulatory investigations.
