Norton Rose announces new Corporate Insurance partner in Singapore

Norton Rose Group announced Friday? that Anna Tipping is to join the practice in Singapore as a Corporate Insurance partner.

She? joins from Linklaters, where she was Counsel.

Tipping will first spend six months in the London office with the market leading Corporate Insurance team, before transferring to Singapore.

Anna has a wealth of experience in the insurance arena in both the life and general sectors of the market. She has led both capital markets and structured finance transactions as well as M&A and also covers regulatory advice, corporate insurance programmes, reinsurance treaty wordings and general commercial transactions.

Following Anna?s appointment, Norton Rose Group will have 43 insurance partners globally.

This announcement follows the recent strengthening of the Singapore corporate finance team with the relocation of London?s Jill Gauntlett and Hong Kong?s Yu En Ong. Commercial dispute resolution chief from Norton Rose Australia, Peter Cash will also relocate from Melbourne to the Singapore office in May 2010.

Earlier this month, Norton Rose (Asia) LLP also announced the growth of its corporate finance practice in Hong Kong with two new partner-level joiners, Andrew Abernethy and Shaun McRobert.
