Irish Legal News is pleased to announce the forthcoming release of a rare and important fine art print of Irish artist Stephen McClean’s specially-commissioned painting of the Royal Courts of Justice in Belfast, published by Hanna Fine Art to mark the historical appointment of Mrs Justice Keegan as Northern Ireland’s first Lady Chief Justice.
“The Royal Courts of Justice” is being released in a highly-collectible limited edition of only 150 prints, all of which have been hand-signed by The Right Honourable Dame Siobhan Keegan and Stephen McClean, to commemorate this landmark event in Northern Irish legal history.
The print comes with a photograph of the official print signing in chambers at the Royal Courts of Justice and a letter of authenticity signed by the Lady Chief Justice, who commented:
“I am delighted to have been involved in this project which will, I hope, raise much needed funds for Action Cancer. The Covid pandemic has presented all charities with challenges as avenues for fund raising have been limited. The pandemic, however, has not lessened the need for the work done by these superb charities. I wish to thank Hanna Fine Art for publishing and facilitating the successful sale of these prints. To preserve the value and rarity of the print, no further prints will ever be published or signed outside this historic edition, creating a unique legal collectible, which is already being referred to as the most significant print in Northern Irish legal history.
The investment grade fine art print has been published to the highest standards using archival inks on fine art paper to create a museum quality artwork that will appeal to the most discerning of investors and collectors of rare and important legal memorabilia.
