Integreon Names Legal Outsourcing Thought Leader Mark Ross as Vice President of Legal Services
LOS ANGELES, Dec. 7 /PRNewswire/ — Integreon, the global leader in integrated knowledge process outsourcing (KPO) and legal process outsourcing (LPO), today announced the appointment of legal outsourcing industry thought leader Mark Ross to the position of vice president of legal services. Mr. Ross joins a team of other leading LPO experts at Integreon who routinely advise major law firms and corporations on legal outsourcing solutions aimed at reducing both internal and external legal costs while improving operational efficiencies. Ross’ responsibilities include working closely with Integreon’s sales, marketing, and delivery teams to address the company’s growing client demand for LPO solutions.
Ross, a U.K. qualified solicitor and former partner at legal outsourcing pioneer Underwoods Solicitors, boasts six years of experience in the legal outsourcing field. Prior to joining Integreon, he served as the vice president of global sales and marketing at LawScribe. His involvement in legal outsourcing dates to January 2004 when Underwoods became the first U.K. law firm to outsource legal work offshore. He was then responsible for the development of the workflow system for outsourcing litigation matters to the firm’s South Africa offices.
“Mark is a recognized LPO thought leader and authority. We are delighted that he will now apply his deep domain expertise to assist Integreon’s clients,” said Liam Brown, Integreon’s chief executive officer. “Mark has a clear understanding and vision of the future for the legal profession and how leading law firms and corporate legal departments can use outsourcing to transform their businesses.”
Ross is the former Chair of the International Association of Outsourcing Professionals’ (IAOP) Legal Outsourcing Chapter. He has been invited on multiple occasions to speak at conferences as an authority on legal outsourcing by such organizations as U.C. Berkeley School of Law, The Financial Times, Association of Legal Administrators and IAOP. He has been interviewed and published in both mainstream and legal publications, including TIME magazine, the UK Law Society Gazette and the American Bar Association. He also developed the industry’s first U.S. State Bar accredited MCLE course, offered by a legal outsourcing services provider, regarding the ethical issues associated with offshore legal outsourcing.
As a widely recognized industry thought leader, Ross will continue writing articles and blog posts, hosting webinars and speaking at conferences to evangelize the benefits of legal outsourcing. Based in Los Angeles, he will report to John Croft, Integreon’s president of global sales.
