This role works for the KM Consulting function of much larger entity. It’s largely home-based and would suit someone seeking greater influence, autonomy, and client-facing impact beyond traditional in-house roles. The salary is commensurate with experience.

Legal Research Manager – Law – Can be attached to multiple office locations – https://www.cbresourcing.com/job/research-manager-622.aspx
An internal move has created an opportunity for an experienced researcher or team lead to step up into a formal management role. The person that secures this role will be managing a team of 4 extremely settled and motivated legal researchers that are at different stages of their careers and based across Manchester and Scotland. The role is largely remote and will be the balancing tactical responsibility such as developing the service and managing KM initiatives and also keeping close to the more granular elements of legal research by operating as an SME and point of escalation.
Research Analyst – London – US Law Firm – https://www.cbresourcing.com/job/research-analyst-law-london-616.aspx
This US law firm is particularly notable for its rapid growth in the UK, not just in terms of staff, but also influence. It’s as a result of growth and the need to service increasing business and legal research requests, that this firm now has a requirement for it’s second UK based research hire. The research aspect role is weighted in favour of business/commercial, but for someone whose research skills lean heavily toward legal research, there will be considerable support and the opportunity to refine your skills in business research. The role is largely on site, but this is countered by some outstanding benefits including 10% as an employer’s pension contribution, free breakfast and lunch.
Research Analyst (Market and Competitive Intelligence) – London – US Law Firm – https://www.cbresourcing.com/job/analyst-competitive-and-tactical-research-law-london-620.aspx
This role forms part of a small transatlantic team of Researchers that are providing both an enquiry-led business research service and working on research projects where the objective is to provide actionable insight. It’s the sole person in this capacity in the UK and has arisen due to the current post-holder transitioning to a fee-earning career. This role would suit someone seeking to develop their skills in managing more complex research projects that support the firm in understanding their customers, benchmarking against competitors and producing insight that feeds into the firms BD and strategic initiatives.
