Wilson Sonsini Goodrich & Rosati, has announced that Kefei Li has become a partner at the firm.
A member of the corporate and securities practice, Li has capital markets experience in both China and the U.S.
He joins the firm from Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher and Flom, and will be based in China.

A native Mandarin speaker who is fluent in English, Li specializes in capital markets transactions, mergers and acquisitions, and corporate counseling. He has broad experience representing issuers and underwriters in international securities offerings, with particular expertise relating to Hong Kong and U.S. initial public offerings by Chinese companies. He also has advised international corporations and private equity investors in connection with mergers and acquisitions and investment matters in China.
Li’s selected representations include SYSWIN, Camelot Information Systems, MEMSIC, China Construction Bank, CITIC Bank, and China Netcom, and international investment banks such as Citi, Deutsche Bank, Goldman Sachs, JP Morgan, Morgan Stanley, Bank of America, Merrill Lynch, and UBS in connection with securities offerings on the New York Stock Exchange, NASDAQ, and the Hong Kong Stock Exchange. In addition, he has handled a variety of private equity and venture capital matters, representing Sequoia Capital China, the Jordan Company, and IDGVC Partners, among others. Li received his J.D. and LL.M. from Duke University in 2000 and a B.A. from Pomona College in 1996.
