New CB Resourcing (London) Law Library Job Postings

Legal and Business Research Adviser – London

CB Resourcing are supporting a highly regarded international law firm with a requirement for a Legal and Business Research Adviser. This role is fundamentally a research role but the longstanding team at this firm is quite small, meaning that the position is able to offer a wider information services and KM remit including the provision of training, current awareness and collection development. Candidates will ideally be experienced individuals especially in the arena of research, but the nature of the team means that there is some scope and resource available within the team to help someone at the early stages of their career to develop into the role. Someone with an enthusiasm for seeking out the efficiencies of technology such as AI would be of particular interest.

Research Analyst – Law – London

This role has arisen on the back of a wider formalisation of the KM function within this firm and the recognition of the need for a research service that feeds into BD, strategic initiatives and occasionally ongoing client work. Initially this role will undertake relatively straightforward business research and help lay strong foundations for current awareness, but in the medium and longer term the position will work closely with the Knowledge Manager to identify and implement tools and resources to be able to deliver a more sophisticated research service to lawyers. Key to the role are strong business research skills, but the role could be suited to someone with considerable experience, or someone earlier in their career who may be limited by environment or opportunities in their current role.
