An opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic graduate to join a leading Patent and Trade Mark law firm as a Marketing and Business Development Assistant tasked with providing support to the Business Development Manager and Partners of the firm in all aspects of marketing and business development. • Day to day marketing administration and dealing with email requests
• Marketing and business development event coordination
• Arranging overseas conference and exhibition attendance for partners/others
• Liaising with external suppliers and venues including International Couriers
• Ad hoc mailshots/e-shots to clients
• Ongoing website updating and maintenance
• Ongoing marketing database updating and maintenance
• Responsibility for monitoring stocks of all marketing materials and displaying accordingly
• Collating feedback and assisting with follow-up after events as required
• Monitoring of internal marketing and business development intranet content
• Liaising with partners for content and writing draft copy for legal directories and other publications
• Proofreading of draft marketing literature as required
• Ensuring correct use of brand identity across the firm
• Other marketing projects and activities as they arise
The ideal candidate will be a graduate with previous professional services marketing experience, excellent communication skills and high attention to detail and work accuracy. The Marketing and BD Assistant will also be a confident and friendly self starter who is able to get on well with people at all levels of an organisation.
