Manspot Seeks Court Judgment on Manscaped’s Trademark Claim

Manspot LLC, a men’s grooming products company, is requesting a declaratory judgment after Manscaped LLC sent it a cease and desist letter for allegedly violating its trademark.

Manspot claims that it hasn’t infringed any trademark, in a complaint filed in the US District Court for the Northern District of Illinois.

Manscaped accused the company of engaging in acts of trademark and trade dress infringement, in a November 2023 letter, the complaint says. The letter allegedly included screenshots of evidence for comparison and a demand to stop using the mark “Manspot”—suggesting its use in packaging and marketing has caused “consumer confusion.” …
