Lawyer Nazim Sattar has been injured in a stabbing attack.
Police said they received a report around midnight last night about a man being taken to ADK Hospital with injuries sustained due to an attack from a sharp object. Authorities confirmed the victim is a 49-year-old Maldivian male.
While the police have not officially disclosed the identity of the victim, Adhadhu understands the attack targeted Nazim Sattar.
Police have yet to reveal the location in Male’ where the assault occurred or the type of weapon used in the attack.
Nazim Sattar is reportedly in a stable condition. However, details about his wounds or whether he has been discharged from the hospital remain unclear.
No arrests have been reported in connection with the case so far. Police confirmed that an investigation into the matter is currently underway.
