We are looking for an enthusiastic Library Assistant to join our team of nine running this busy law library serving barristers and bar students.
The job involves a wide variety of tasks including enquiry work, providing a document supply service, indexing, assisting with online serials work, binding preparation and looseleaf filing as well as carrying out tours and induction sessions for students and pupils.
Previous library experience, effective communication skills, ability to work under pressure and flexibility are all vital. Knowledge of legal materials and web resources, and an interest in legal matters would be advantageous.
