Library Technician
Grade 1

  • Exciting opportunity to join Crown Solicitor’s Office
  • Temporary role for up to 12 months with a possibility of extension/conversion to ongoing
  • Based in the Sydney CBD (Martin Place)

 

Classification grade: Library Technician Grade 1
Salary: $67,975 – $80,728 p.a. pro rata (Package up to $90,286 p.a. pro rata including base salary, employer’s contribution to superannuation and annualised leave loading.)
Work type: Part-Time – 7 hours per week (1 day)

 

About the role
The Library Technician plays a vital role in the provision of customer service, with a focus on operational and technical aspects of a library and information service. In this role, you will work autonomously to maintain library records, assist CSO staff with accessing materials and liaising with the Law Courts Library.

Essential requirements

  • Eligibility for para-professional membership of Australian Library and Information Association (ALIA) and an ALIA accredited library and information science qualification
  • Experience with library systems.
