The national law firm of Quarles & Brady LLP has an opening for a Library Research Specialist in our Chicago, IL office. This position will provide reference support and perform technical services as part of the national library team.
Responsible for cost effective and time efficient legal research. Acts as part of the research team providing reference and research assistance firm-wide. The position works collaboratively with library staff, attorneys and legal staff.

Responsibilities :
- Fulfill document delivery requests for court documents, laws, and articles.
- Locate and provide research materials from internal and external sources.
- Provide research and reference support as part of a national team of Research Librarians.
Qualifications :
- Ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3-5 years law library experience
- Law firm preferred but not required
- MLS, MLIS from an accredited institution
- Strong attention to detail and strong oral and written communication skills.
- Strong sense of client service and a commitment to being part of an integrated team.
- Ability to work independently and to prioritize and multi-task to complete projects effectively and efficiently.
- Able maintain short timeline assignments in a fast paced office environment
- Proficient with Microsoft Office and electronic research tools
