Responsibilities
This is an administrative support role that provides a range of administrative and clerical services to support the effective day-to-day operation of the Library. The incumbent is required to provide professional and courteous service, exercise judgement, maintain a high and consistent level of accuracy, set priorities and schedule work to meet deadlines.
Key Accountabilities
- File loose-leaf practice books.
- Re-shelve items in the correct location and keep public areas, desks and shelves tidy.
- Retrieve material and prepare for dispatch to remote users.
- Assist and take direction from the Library Manager, Research Librarian and Senior Co-ordinator with day-to-day duties, responsibilities and with any other additional tasks as required.
Requirements
- Previous experience in library administration.
- Completion of Year 12 level Legal studies (advantageous).
- Exemplary levels of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Ability to plan and manage work priorities to ensure the timely completion of tasks.
- Propensity to quickly familiarise with the service deliverables of the Library.
- Ability to work in a customer focused, professional environment.
