We have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Library Assistant to join our Knowledge Management Team in Melbourne.
We are seeking to appoint an experienced Library Assistant 3 days per week supporting the Librarian. The successful applicant will have experience within professional services library.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
Collection Management
- Within EvolvePlus, our Library Management System to:
- Maintenance of the library collection including returns, shelving and labelling;
- Assist in the facilitation of Inter Library Loans
- Assist in the preparation and delivery of both hard copy and online information resources within the firm, ensuring that accurate information is held at all times.
eBook Collection Management
- Ensure links to the collection are accurate and update to date ;
- Curate and maintain training manuals;
- Maintain user registration and access to Publishers’ sites
Content Management
- As directed, assist with the creation of deep linking to digital resources;
- Assist with preparation of research guides, checklists and other training materials;
- Assist with current awareness activities;
RSS Management
- Create and distribute Legislative and Case Alerts to Practice Groups;
- Use and maintain RSS feeds from digital databases and sources on the Intranet; including social media such as Twitter and
- Facebook feeds that are relevant to the Practice Groups.
