We are seeking two enthusiastic and collaborative Librarians to join a specialist team of Librarians and Learning Skills Advisers at the Law Library.
Our Librarians contribute to collection development and management, and work with Subject Librarians and Learning Skills Advisers to make a genuine contribution to the development of students’ information research skills within and external to the curriculum. They also contribute to Library-wide projects, and work at service points within the Library, providing advice to stakeholders about collections, facilities, services, compliance requirements, and finding and using resources.
These roles will suit candidates who are team-oriented, with excellent time management and interpersonal communication skills, confidence in face to face teaching, and who are innovative with using a range of software to create online learning resources and environments for blended learning programs.
One of these positions will also have responsibility for leading and supervise a small team of Information Services Officers, and coordinating the day to day activities of the Information service point.
Applicants should be eligible for associate membership of the Australian Library and Information Association.
Rostered weekend work may be required.
