Provide professional legal information, reference, research, and instructional services to the law school community. Act as liaison to law school journals, doctrinal programs and LLM programs. Assume collection responsibility for subject specific areas of the law, and review, evaluate and suggest licensing of new electronic research titles for the law library in that area. Develop and teach legal research instructional classes, as well as teaching in the other library instructional programs. Assist legal researchers in effectively understanding and using new and existing resources, technologies and library services.
Required Skills
Masters in Information or Library Science and J.D. from an accredited program are required and one to three years of relevant experience. Candidates with more than three years of academic law library reference experience may be considered at the Senior level. Strong service orientation required and excellent organizational, technology and interpersonal skills desired.
