LexisNexis Group is working to develop a consortium of multinational businesses to fight human trafficking; Robert Rigby-Hall, senior vice president and chief human resources officer with LexisNexis Group, said it hoped to launch the coalition in September, and that a half-dozen corporations had expressed interest.

The anti-trafficking business consortium, which may include hotels and airlines, would prohibit use of products (or services) from so-called Tier 3 countries, which are known to use child labour. Child sexual exploitation is just one piece of the bigger picture, Rigby-Hall said: near the train station in Delhi, India, one organization found over 780 unaccompanied children, who worked in factories.

As for Holly, it has ?been a great platform for raising awareness of the issue,? Jacobson said, encouraging attendees at the screening to promote the film to others and learn how to make an impact in stopping child sexual exploitation.

He noted that for himself ?the journey? had been meaningful, including the corporate support he had received. The example set by a firm such as LexisNexis Group would also encourage employees to go to work for it, he said; ?They can say, ?this is what we have done.??
