From one of our sources , seems to be the same story for the past 18 months – what do you think?
I read on a blog that LexisNexis legal revenue was up 1% this year in GBP.
On 1/1/2015 there were 0.641922 GBP to USD. Or 1.557822 USD to GBP.
On 1/1/2016 there were 0.678264 GBP to USD. Or 1.474353 USD to GBP.
That’s about a 5% drop in the value of the pound relative to the dollar.
Thus:
US$1 in revenue a year ago is 0.641922 GBP
That growing %1 is 0.64834122 GBP.
Which is now US$0.96.
The 1% increase in GBP is more than a 4% drop in USD. LexisNexis gets most of its money in the U.S.
