Business development teams can identify strategic relationship opportunities, and legal departments can utilize the database to upgrade their conflict of interest management process. The database also enables finance experts to better determine spending and discount opportunities, and helps corporate citizenship teams identify new leads to additional contributors.

By providing an extensive array of information updated weekly from 6,500 news sources, the database improves the comprehensiveness and relevancy of search results for its various end-users. Business information listed may include annual revenues, brands, products, ticker symbols, number of employees, and a list of competitors. The database also simplifies contacting corporations by providing the address, phone, fax, URL, and names and email addresses of key personnel at each corporation.

?Company hierarchy and contact information is often outdated or unavailable on the web, so our research team conducts up to 600,000 calls annually to find up-to-date information for our Corporate Affiliations website,? said Tim Fusco, vice president of publishing operations for LexisNexis Corporate and Federal Markets. ?Our pay-as-you-go pricing and subscription options allow both the occasional and full-time researcher to find the answers they need to make informed business decisions.?

Locating a company in the database is quick and easy even if a user only knows one brand or product name of a company. By entering a product or brand name, the database quickly retrieves and displays the parent company and its family tree. Additional methods of finding a company include searching by an NAICS code, business description, geographical location or size of business. An easy-to-use reading room option allows end-users to save records for up to one year.
