The Sacramento Business Journal reports that LexisNexis is moving 100 jobs to North Carolina
and relocating its software development offices to a centralized 120,000-square-foot office building on the 1,227-acre Centennial Campus, a research park on the campus of North Carolina State University in Raleigh, N.C.

About 100 LexisNexis positions in Sacramento are being moved to North Carolina this year.
The move of legal and professional software development and research positions includes the division known as CounselLink, and will occur in phases through the year.
Some people in the local office are being offered positions in North Carolina, but likely not all of them, said a spokesman with LexisNexis.
LexisNexis is based in Dayton, Ohio. It is a division of Reed Elsevier PLC (NYSE: RUK).
The company is relocating its software development offices to a centralized 120,000-square-foot office building on the 1,227-acre Centennial Campus, a research park on the campus of North Carolina State University in Raleigh, N.C.
The software team had been in Cary, N.C., but it is also being moved about 15 miles to the new campus building, which LexisNexis is calling its “software center of excellence.”
North Carolina State University has one of the oldest computer science departments in the country, and it ranks fourth in the nation in computer science graduate degrees awarded.
