The Center for Animal Law Studies (CALS) at Lewis & Clark Law School is the global leader in animal law education. February 1st is the deadline to apply for the Fall 2024 semester for in-person study at our beautiful campus in Portland, Oregon, for our three advanced degree programs – Animal Law LLM (for lawyers), Master of Studies in Animal Law (MSL) (for non-lawyers), and Doctor of Juridical Science in Animal Law (SJD). Our post-JD or post-LLB master of laws Animal Law LLM is designed for U.S. and international law school graduates who want to focus on animal law in practice, teaching, research, or public policy. Our Alumni-in-Action are working to protect animals and doing so in an array of settings. Our Animal Law MSL degree is for both U.S. and international students with a Bachelor’s degree who want to focus on animal law in advocacy, academia, research, public policy, and more.
