Quarles & Brady LLP is seeking a Legal Research Specialist in our Phoenix or Tucson office. The Legal Research Specialist is responsible for providing research solutions to attorneys and staff firm-wide, on a time critical basis. The researcher works with colleagues throughout the firm, using traditional and online resources to respond to these requests.

Responsibilities:
- Conduct legal reference services and in-depth research in wide range of areas including practice-specific areas of law, business intelligence, public records, legislative history, medical and news/media.
- Perform legal reference and research using traditional and electronic resources to our attorneys and legal staff.
- Provide research support by pulling cases and documents from online resources.
- Monitor reference request submitted to research designated request email list, allocating request when necessary to ensure timely research service.
- Collaborate with fellow team members on projects and proposals for procedures associated with legal research, reference services and product usage.
- Act as Library Liaison in evaluating resources and services for assigned practice group.
- Provide library orientation for new hires.
- Provide research training as needed.
- Other tasks as assigned.

Qualifications:
- Professional librarian experience with an ALA-Accredited MLS, or equivalent. Current MLS students will be considered.
- Law library experience, including research of complex legal matters, use of technology to provide solutions, interaction with all levels within a law firm environment, and training.
- Conversant on library technology.
- Excellent oral and written expression that demonstrate an ability to instruct and educate.
- Strong interpersonal skills that demonstrate collaboration and teamwork.
- Demonstrated superior customer service skills.
