Here’s the press release……..

legal search consultancy Shilton Sharpe Quarry has expanded its capabilities in Asia with the opening of an office in Singapore. The move will strengthen the business’s unique geographical footprint, and brings the number of offices in the region to four; Hong Kong opened in 2012, followed by Beijing and Shanghai in 2013.

The Singapore office will be run by Nick Robertson. Nick has been recruiting in the region for a number of years and has extensive experience advising law firms on partner moves and team expansions as well as working with leading corporates in the region looking to grow their in-house legal teams.

“Opening in Singapore was the next logical step for SSQ following our successful launches in Hong Kong, Beijing and Shanghai,” Chief Executive Nick Shilton said. “By having a presence in Singapore we are now able to present a united and comprehensive Asian business and better serve our clients in the region, as well as those that might want to expand into the Asian market in the future. Nick Robertson has excellent contacts and first rate knowledge of the market in Singapore, which will be a real asset to the SSQ brand and help our Asian business to continue to grow.”

The Singapore office cements SSQ as a global legal recruiter and its presence in the Asia region. Each market in Asia is unique and having consultants on the ground in a variety of cities further enhances the market intelligence and local knowledge which the business can offer its clients.
