Legal Marketing Content Writer/Editor (3055 Wilshire Blvd)
Wilshire Law Firm is seeking a full-time Content Writer/Editor. Working closely with the rest of the marketing team, the ideal candidate will project manage the development of marketing materials and content for the overall market plan. The position will be based in Los Angeles, California.
Your duties and responsibilities include:
• Create and publish engaging content, including blog posts, articles, web pages, e-mail campaigns, brochures, video scripts, etc.
• Develop content strategy aligned with short-term and long-term marketing targets
• Collaborate with marketing and design teams to plan and develop site content, style and layout
• Delegate writing assignments to outside writers, and proof/edit their content
• Optimize content according to SEO
• Manage content distribution to online channels and social media platforms to increase web traffic (especially Facebook)
• Develop an editorial calendar and ensure content team is on board
• Ensure compliance with law and legal ethical standards
• Know what kind of content attracts target audience engagement and stay on top of the latest developments to gain new ideas
You should possess the following professional skills and attributes:
• Possess excellent English written/oral/interpersonal communication skills
• In-depth understanding and sensibility of the legal market and consumer
• Strong market research and analytical skills
• Proficiency in WordPress and Social Media (especially Facebook)
You should also possess the following personal attributes:
• Organized and able to perform with little supervision
• Positive attitude, work ethic, and ability to multi-task
• Works well under pressure with deadlines, organized, and detail oriented
Finally, you should have the following qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree or relevant work experience
• Writing/marketing background
Wilshire Law Firm is a rapidly growing, full service personal injury law firm based in Los Angeles, with 20 office locations throughout California. Compensation based on experience. This is a full-time position with growth potential in an expanding company.
