Richmond office of premiere law firm looking for a Legal Librarian. This is a great opportunity for qualified candidates looking to work for an established Richmond firm.
Legal Librarian Job Duties:
– Using print and electronic resources as requested
– Performs legal and non-legal reference and research services for attorneys and paralegals
– Performs interlibrary loan and document delivery transactions
– Processes invoices, incoming mail, new books, and perform other duties as needed
– Coordinates training for attorneys and paralegals with Lexis & Westlaw representatives.
– Works independently, following established practices and procedures and coordinates with west coast librarians when necessary
– Coordinates CLE programs for attorneys and tracks CLE history
Requirements:
– Bachelor’s degree
– 2 years of recent law library experience
– Masters in Library Science preferred but not required
– Capable of working efficiently and accurately in a fast-paced environment
– Experience with electronic databases, Westlaw and Lexis required
– Proficiency with MS Office
