Role & Responsibilities of the Position: (Looking for people from LPO’s)
The primary function of this position is to provide in depth support & advice from an off shoring perspective on corporate law, transactional law, corporate secretarial and compliance and manage & expand a team of professionals & administrators in Mumbai. These groups provide contract (IT and Non IT) support, manages & mitigates transaction and counterparty specific legal & documentation risk through the use of industry-standard master agreements & transaction-level documentation (i.e. confirmations) for over-the-counter (OTC) transactions. Also, provides off shoring compliance support – e-mail surveillance, control room, PA dealings etc. Lastly, the group is also providing corporate secretarial support to the other regions.
Duties & Responsibilities:
*Provide working knowledge on support & advice on capital markets contracts, IT and Non-IT contracts, compliance offshore support and corporate secretarial offshore support
*Manage, lead and expand the current team
*Responsible for expanding & establishing the team to cover new areas of work being migrated to Mumbai, working closely with management globally on the successful transfer of further workflows
*Provide guidance & support to the team in Mumbai
*Implement & enforce local policies & procedures to encourage efficient work practices within the team
