The Boston University Law Libraries has an open position for a Legal Information Librarian or Senior Legal Information Librarian. This position is part of a seven-person reference team. Legal information librarians teach, provide reference, liaise with faculty, and help with collection development.
The legal information librarians teach in the first year Lawyering Program paired with a legal writing instructor, provide legal research instruction in the LLM Research & Writing Program, teach a 1-credit legal research course in the area of their choosing, and teach in the library certification program in the Spring semester. Legal information librarians also provide professional reference and research services to the Law School and University communities. This position will have a subject concentration and be paired with law school faculty in that area. They will also serve as liaison to a student journal as well as another department in the law school. This position will also be responsible for selections and databases evaluation in their area of subject concentration.

Required Skills
JD and MLS/MLIS from accredited schools
Three to five years of relevant experience in an academic law library.
