Legal Counsel (Suzhou, China)

Responsibilities:
-Based in Suzhou, the purpose of this function is to provide quality legal support to the four business units in their efforts to growth their respective businesses in China
-Ability to evaluate and provide quality legal advice on all matters associated with current operations and new business opportunities in China
-Providing legal advice on a wide range of corporate and commercial issues, strategic joint venture arrangements, finance, supply and distribution agreements and other major global commercial contracts
-Advising on other legal matters to include employment, intellectual property (IPR), competition law, property, insurance and managing matters arising out of any current or future litigation.
-Ensuring maximum understanding of and compliance with any current and future legal and regulatory requirements affecting the company in China

Requirements:
-The ideal candidate will possess a law degree with extensive experience in general corporate and commercial law, litigation management, and M&A work
-Excellent legal drafting both in English and Mandarin?
-Responsible, hardworking, self-motivated, able to work independently, team-player, good communication skills
-Additional expertise in Chinese intellectual property laws/practice would be an advantage?
-Oversea working/living experience
-Law firm working experience/Lawyer/Counsel
-Be able to participate as full member in the local management
-Perfered : Active, passion
