Legal Counsel – Insurance

Working closely with key stakeholders across the business, and reporting directly to the regional head of legal,?? you will be involved in the full gambit of insurance work including drafting and negotiating policies and contracts, advising on risk related matters, interacting with the regulators, managing investigations and contentious issues as well as the company secretarial function. This varied advisory role will also involve some general commercial advice work on a range of ad hoc legal matters.
The successful candidate will possess at least 5 years experience gained with a well known commercial law firm or in-house with a recognised corporation. Previous experience working in an in-house legal environment and knowledge of the insurance sector and insurance-related regulations is advantageous.? The ability to build strong working relationships, multi-task and interact with all levels of the business will be highly regarded.? High proficiency in spoken and written English and Chinese is required.
